Feeding myself!

So Mom and Dad gave up on cheerios...I just don't like them all that much! I really like the banana puffs they got at the store better. This week Mom got me some rice chex and THOSE are delicious! I even made a little more effort and now I can put them in my own mouth!

Brrr!

As you can see by the picture above, it is reallllly cold here! I have been having to stay inside with Dad all the time, and between you and me, he's driving me crazy!

I have been trying lots of new things to eat. You would think with all these teeth (I have 6 now) I would be really into chewing, but not so much. I did like bread though...yum. And you can see me smiling when Mom gave me squash mixed with pasta stars. I will take cheerios and chex cereal but usually I just get it all mushy and then spit it out onto my shirt. I'm not into swallowing chunky stuff yet...just give me time!

I also like to stand all the time, just like below next to the tub. I love playing with my lion toy and push it all around the living room while I walk behind it. I also like to stand at my table and play. It makes lots of noises...Mom and Dad say they are 'annoying' but I don't know what that word means.

Standin' around

So I love to stand. I will pull myself up and stand just about anywhere, really. Dad put foam around all the corners in the living room. It is quite a decorative statement. Look for it in architectural digest.
The other night after I got out of my bath, Mom turned to get me a diaper so I could get ready for bed. When she turned back around, I was trying to get back in the tub! What can I say, cleanliness is important to me. And please, no comments on cellulite...it isn't like I can work a treadmill!

Nothing but Trouble

Dad said some new words the other day when I found a present Mom had left on the living room floor. I am not sure what the trouble was, I mean I innocently got everything out of the crinkly noise making thing and then tried to break up all the chips that came out so they would not be as noticeable on the carpet.

Everyone tells me I am so cute so why does the striped furry thing not want to play? I mean I try and try to be friends. What better way to be friends with someone than to put their ear in your mouth? Look at her face: utter indifference.

I don't care. I'm not going to give up:
