No Fear!

We passed it in the mall several times...the 4th or 5th time I said "jump...please" Mom finally agreed to give in. Dad still wasn't convinced. As the lady started to harness me in, I couldn't help myself and started jumping even before it was time! Those were the best 3 minutes ever! I grinned and giggled the entire time...

Summer Vacation

We recently got back from another great week at Fripp Island, South Carolina (thanks again, Lewandowskis!).

We had suuuch a fun time. The weather was perfect, and the beach was nice and warm to play in the water. My favorite part was the kid pool...it is only 1 foot deep and has a frog slide in the middle! Of course the slide was nothing compared to the fun I had with a plastic tea set some little girls left behind on the side of the pool. Unfortunately when they came back to get it I had such a meltdown we had to leave.

We got to ride around the island in a golf cart most of the time. We also rode bikes with a trailer on the back one day...Dad said in retrospect that wasn't a good idea when I am in the 95th %ile. I loved getting ready to go to the beach or pool...I often ran to the golf cart ahead of Mom and Dad and tried to steal Dad's spot in the driver's seat but he never let me drive anyways.

Happy 2nd Birthday!

As you may know, I am now 2! I can even show you 'how many' if you ask. I had a great birthday...so many toys that Mom and Dad had to rearrange some furniture to accomodate numero uno (that's me!). It all started when the folks brought cupcakes up to school for my friends and I to celebrate. We had yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting decorated like monkeys and they were delicious!

Then I got to stay at home with my Wallace grandparents for a couple of days while Mom and Dad took an anniversary trip--did you know I was born on their anniversary? When they got home I got balloons and a couple of presents but the real party was on 4/24! We had a backyardigans cake, chicken fajitas, and all 4 of my grandparents were there to gush over how cute I am opening presents. I really got into it! I got a couple of cool hats and some building bricks from Mom and Dad, a neat circus play tent and puzzle and train from my Breedlove grandparents and a mini table and chairs, music set, and train from my Wallace grandparents!

After all that excitement we got to go out to kiddie acres and I rode all the rides plus a pony! What more could a boy want?

One Size Fits All

I like to try on Mom and Dad's shoes sometimes. I especially like flip flops and Mom's work shoes--they are big and shiny and heavy and I love to wear them around the house.

More Easter

I got to dye Easter eggs with Mom the day after Easter. She was on call for the weekend so it worked out better this way. I just wanted to keep dipping the eggs into all the colors so in the end they were all sort of purply brown. Of course, purple is my favorite color to say so I didn't mind!

Happy Easter!

I had such an exciting weekend! First of all, on Saturday night I learned how to get out of my crib. Dad woke up to me walking out of my room on Sunday morning--Mom was at the hospital on call--and so on Sunday my crib got converted to a daybed! I love it and have been sleeping well in there.

Mom was able to come home Sunday afternoon so we went and had lunch together...then Grandma & Grandpa B came over and we had a delicious Easter dinner together. The Easter bunny also left me some toys at their house which they brought over for me. I got a new froggy bank and a great Donald Duck who loves to dance with me! The best part of the day, though, was when we got to go outside and smash cascarones everywhere! I think the picture shows how exciting that was.

Happy Birthday, Grandma W!

I got to go to Dallas with Mom and Dad last weekend to celebrate Grandma W's birthday. I won't divulge which number it was, but let's just say it was a big one! I got to help her sweep the back patio with my mini-broom and then we opened her presents together. I know I don't have any pictures to prove it, but it snowed this weekend! Grandma's birthday is on the first day of Spring but can you believe it, the ground was covered in white on Sunday morning!

Leisurely Brunch

I had a lovely brunch this morning out on the back patio (80 degrees and breezy!) at my new frog table and chair. I needed a hearty meal after all the sandbox and bubble playing this morning!

Bath time

Another example of how happy I am in the tub...notice that whenever Daddy slows down I tell him, "more."

My Art

Mommy found her camera this morning after I had been playing with it and wanted to share my skill of photography with you. I don't think Mom gets my art but I am sure the masses will.

Austin Zoo

I went to the zoo today with Mommy. Let's just say that there's a reason the Columbus Zoo wins "zoo of the year" awards and the Austin zoo doesn't. We were a little spoiled up north. Anywho, the zoo here does let you feed some animals and, after the train ride, feeding the llamas was definitely my favorite part! They have furry lips that tickled my hands when I got to feed them. I also enjoyed waving to all the animals, making monkey, tiger, and bear noises, and saying "turtle" a lot. The monkeys have a cozy coupe to play with just like me!

Sesame Sreet Live

What can I say? Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster all in one place. Mom and Dad were there with me. I got a big Elmo balloon. Does life get better than this?
