Got milk?

I sure do love my bouncy chair! I have also recently started to enjoy my bounceroo that Mommy's friends from work got me...especially now that I'm long enough for my feet to start to touch the floor.

I usually get parked on this bouncy chair while the folks eat dinner. If they look at me while they eat I usually smile pretty big which they seem to like! They never take pics of themselves but I assure you, whenever I smile they start grinning like idiots...parents can be so dorky.

My big boy chair

So Mom and Dad got me my own chair over the weekend. The box says it is for kids at least 8 lbs and/or 3 months old. Since I was born weighing more than 8 lbs Mom figures I'm good to go. I like it pretty well, but I definitely prefer to be held!

Gardening

This is the flower that Grandma Wallace planted for Mommy (it was just a bulb) when I was just 4 days old. It looks pretty good, huh? It's even taller than me now. It must be a pretty hearty plant because Mom and Dad haven't done anything to help it grow...they have been too busy tending to their other little project (me!)

We are going to get pictures taken again this weekend. Mommy says if Daddy would ever get around to cutting out cardboard to mail the pictures I took at 7 weeks maybe my grandparents could have copies of those before I take my 3 month pictures! Dad says he has something else occupying most of his time. Excuses excuses :)

PS-no that is not cellulite on my thighs, it's just the lighting.

Dad is Losing his Mind

Today Dad was getting us packed up to go for a walk. I wonder how far he will get before he realizes I grew a tail and meow.

Pool Party

We had a nice day today. Dad and I let Mom sleep for a while since she had to work last night, but then she got up and we played together all day! It was pretty warm outside so I decided to relax in the pool for a while. I love sitting in the water...it got nice and warm since we were out in the sun. Mom couldn't believe how much water my diaper absorbed, but she said it was still better than taking a chance and putting me in the pool naked. I'm not sure why?
It's been too hot for me and Dad to hit the zoo much lately, but we have been hanging out around the house and having a good time anyways. I giggle and smile pretty much all the time now, which Dad says makes it ok that I get him up at 4AM sometimes.

Tummy Time

Sorry for the long gap in my posts...Mom and Dad's internet access went down for a few days so I couldn't get on the internet.
I am doing better and better with tummy time, as you can see in the picture. I have pretty good head control, mostly because Dad's always forcing me to have tummy time. I don't mind for the first little bit but after a few minutes it gets a little old.
We had a nice weekend together...we went to the museum on Sunday which I always enjoy. Mom and Dad bought me a mini-pool this weekend. I am not sure why they call it 'mini' since it's about 15 times MY size, but then what isn't? I haven't been in it much yet because unless it's right in the sun it's a little cool for me. I mean let's face it, the weather here is nice and mild, not dreadful like back in TX! Pool pics to come soon.

Daddy needs medical attention

This is a plea for daddy's pinkie fingernail which he whines that I am sucking off. As you can see it really calms me down and try as I might, I cannot keep crying when I get the goodness of the pinkie. Dad wishes he could be so easily entertained. Sometimes he tries his own pinkie when mom isn't looking but I have caught him at it before.

The Gigglemonster!

We had a fun day yesterday...Dad made brisket and Mom made homemade blueberry ice cream. I just stuck with milk though. Mom and Dad found a new trick, and I'm afraid I'm going to get a callous on my lip because they may never stop doing it. Sorry the video's kind of grainy...the room was sort of dim when they found my new talent. I think we're going to the zoo later today if it stays nice and cool.

Happy 4th of July!

I had a good day at home with Dad...and my favorite patriotic onesie still pretty much fits, I'm just a tad tall for it. I am smiling more and more these days...especially for Mom and Dad. Every once in a while I will smile right in the middle of a big fuss and make a little giggle. That's when Mom and Dad know for sure that I'm trouble!! I am also a lot more talkative, which Mom really likes. Mom had to work today so we are going to celebrate tomorrow instead. I think we're making homemade ice cream but Mom said it's pretty noisy and I might not like that.

My Father's Aunt Lulubelle and Uncle Stud

I did not know I had family members with such unusual names. My daddy's aunt and uncle drove in from Chicago to see me last weekend. Amazing all that way just to see me. Naturally I had to put on a show of being cute. Unfortunately everyone was so wowed by my cuteness, the best group picture we had was at dinner. As you can see it took a lot out of me to maintain the cute factor.

Their names were from when they kicked me off of my Wii and played themselves. Uncle Stud smoked dad at Wii golf and dad was not surprised at all. My next time I can show them both some real skill, if I ever get a turn...
