After joining Mommy for most of her 3rd year of residency, I made my debut at 5:39 AM on April 23, 2008...what a great anniversary gift for the folks! I weighed 8lbs and 8oz and was 22 inches long. This is the story of my life...
Every night after dinner I go upstairs and take a bath with Mommy. If she isn't at home that night, I usually don't take a bath! I love to climb upstairs by myself and play in the bath. Sometimes when Mommy says it's time to get out I get mad, as you can see with my ugly face below.
Have you guys tasted this stuff? Holy cow is it awesome. I started off using the spoon but I just couldn't really get it in my mouth fast enough. I got to taste pudding the same week I first tried a jello jiggler (lime)...I can't believe Mom has been holding out on this stuff for my first 20 months!
As a possible future olympian, I have been having Dad help me with my routine. I have been trying to work on my high jump too but apparently Mom has a problem with me getting up on the furniture and counter tops. I say it's cheaper than joining a gym...
In addition to "uh-oh" I love to say boo pretty much all the time. I look for opportunities to hide behind corners, under blankets, or even just behind my hands...and then say boo and dissolve into giggles!
I also have been playing a lot with some Christmas presents we got. My great Aunt Mary and Uncle Jim sent me a really cool dumptruck and they also sent us a gingerbread man to hang on the wall. I like the truck a lot but the gingerbread man has been my constant companion for the last couple of days. He isn't very soft and cuddly but I like him anyways!
Well...I know this post is very very delayed. The thing is, Mom's camera was lost...and now it has been relocated! So we have some time to make up for, I realize, but luckily I have been very cute in the last couple of months so I have plenty of material!
I got to spend Christmas with both sets of grandparents and my favorite (and only!) Aunt Elizabeth. Of course the 'rents were there too. I know some kids have to wait until they turn 16, but I got a CAR for Christmas! Don't be jealous. I also love to help Mommy in the kitchen so I got my very own apron and oven mitt so I can help even more. Also some new pots and pans for my kitchen. You will notice I was able to use all my gifts at once (and while wearing the new PJs Santa brought me too!)
I was also able to have my first white Christmas ever! Amazingly enough, despite having lived in Ohio the last 4 years, it was Mom's first white Christmas ever as well. Hope you enjoy the pics :)
I don't know why, but the kid in front of me and the kid behind me were wailing for their pic with Santa. I guess their Mom and Dad didn't explain what Santa does...I was pretty excited to meet such a swell guy! I am hoping for a stereo for Christmas. I hope the big guy comes through for me.
